International competition, winning design – completed project
Design level: concept, developed, and technical design

This is the winning design of a design competition, organized by the RIBA – Royal Institute of British Architects, aimed to the construction of a new kiosk for selling boat tickets and souvenirs located on the Victoria Embankment, adjacent to the Charing Cross station and the Golden Jubilee pedestrian bridge in Central London. We designed a large “mutant” object, which modifies its configuration and reveals its “open” and “closed” states through changes of form and luminosity.
